The Nike Jordan 7 is a basketball shoe that was first released in 1992. It was designed by Tinker Hatfield and is the seventh signature shoe of Michael Jordan. It features a unique design with a neoprene collar for ankle support, a visible Air-Sole unit for cushioning, and an outsole pattern inspired by African tribal art. The shoe also features the number 23 on the heel and a Jumpman logo on the tongue. The Nike Jordan 7 was worn by Jordan during the 1992 NBA season, including during the 1992 Olympics where he won a gold medal. Since its initial release, the shoe has been re-released in various colorways, including the iconic "Bordeaux" colorway in 2011.
